Waffle Wide Slab Method
Formwork material that realizes large spaces with high-strength waffle slabs. Specially shaped polystyrene foam exhibits excellent sound insulation and thermal insulation performance.
The "Waffle Wide Slab Method" uses insulation material made of expanded polystyrene foam (EPS) with dimensions of 910mm in width, 1,820mm in length, and 50mm in thickness to form a waffle-shaped slab. This product, which suppresses floor deflection by allowing concrete to enter in a grid pattern during construction, enables the creation of large spaces up to 10m x 10m without load-bearing walls. It also possesses sound insulation performance that meets the weight floor impact sound level LH-50, and its performance has been confirmed to reach the highest grade "5" of the Japanese housing performance display standards. Additionally, the back of the panel is equipped with steel bars that can be fastened with screws at 303mm intervals, eliminating the need for substructure installation and allowing for direct attachment of interior materials.
